Early Life and Career
Alicia Sacramone was born on December 3, 1987, in Boston, Massachusetts. She started gymnastics at the age of eight, after taking dance classes for three years. She trained with Mihai and Silvia Brestyan at a club called Gymnastics and More and followed them when they opened their facility in Ashland, Massachusetts.
